A place that I always feel most “at home” is in my bed. Being at school, I have various beds that I use that, in different ways, feel like home for me for different reasons. Individually, these beds may not feel like home, but the people that I share these spaces with is what makes them home for me. I have my bed at my house in Naperville, which my pets make feel like home for me. I have my bed in my room at my sorority which I don’t sleep in, but my friends make it feel like home for me. I have my other bed at my sorority in which I actually sleep, yet no one else resides in it and it never really feels like home, yet it’s still my space. Finally, I have my bed at my boyfriend’s house, and he makes it feel like home for me. Each bed serves a specific purpose for me and the people who I share these spaces with are what makes them my spaces and makes them feel like home.
